The cave is located in the Vythoulas area, only a short distance from Potamos, and it was rediscovered this summer by speleologist \/ archaeologist Konstantinos Trimmis. He became curious about Agios Artemios after hearing stories from an elderly villager who, in his childhood, regularly went to the cave. After a difficult search, Konstantinos finally found the location.
