September gefeiert. Auf Kythira tragen drei verschiedene H\u00f6hlen den Namen Agia Sofia (Mylopotamos, Agia Pelagia, Kalamos). Am Eingang jeder dieser H\u00f6hlen befindet sich ein der Heiligen geweihtes Kirchlein.<\/p>\n<p>Sofia weihte ihr Leben Christus. Sie hatte drei T\u00f6chter mit den Namen Glaube, Hoffnung und Liebe. Vergeblich versuchte man Sofia zur Abkehr von ihrem Glauben zu bewegen, indem man ihre T\u00f6chter folterte und schliesslich t\u00f6tete. In ihrer Trauer legte sich Sofia auf das Grab ihrer T\u00f6chter und starb nach drei Tagen.<\/p>\n<p>Am 16. September wird um 18.00 Uhr, am 17. September um 8.30 Uhr in der H\u00f6hle von Kalamos eine Messe gelesen. Diese H\u00f6hle ist beeindruckende 125 Meter tief und 35 Meter hoch und wird w\u00e4hrend der Messe beleuchtet. Ein ganz besonderes Erlebnis! Falls es Ihnen nicht m\u00f6glich sein sollte, am Namenstag hier zu sein, k\u00f6nnen Sie zu einem andern Zeitpunkt an der H\u00f6hlentour Kapsali \u2013 Kalamos teilnehmen.
