Es ist Mitte Juni \u2013 Aprikosenzeit. Und dass es ein gutes Aprikosenjahr wird, ist jetzt schon klar. Viele \u00c4ste sind so schwer beladen, dass sie bis auf den Boden h\u00e4ngen und manchmal wegen des Gewichts sogar abbrechen. Da unser eigener Aprikosenbaum noch klein ist, haben wir uns bis jetzt jeweils \u00fcber ein Dutzend fantastisch schmeckende Fr\u00fcchte gefreut. N\u00e4chstes Jahr hoffen wir auf mehr ..
\nDer Besitzer von Archontiko, der Unterkunft neben dem B\u00fcro von Pyrgos House, hat mich gestern zu sich hineingerufen. In seiner K\u00fcche standen ziemlich viele Kisten voll Aprikosen. Unglaublich viele, wenn man bedenkt, dass der Baum noch lange nicht leergepfl\u00fcckt ist. Ich bekam eine Kiste mit auf den Weg nach Hause. In den n\u00e4chsten Tagen werden wir Marmelade machen, um w\u00e4hrend des ganzen Winters die herrlich s\u00fcsse Frucht geniessen zu k\u00f6nnen.
