Ieder jaar bezoeken ze het eiland minstens twee keer. Ze hebben hier zeker al meer dan duizend kilometers wandelend afgelegd, niet alleen over de gebaande paden maar ook door soms vrijwel ondoordringbare kloven. Ze staan sowieso altijd voor in de rij als er nieuw ontdekte paden uitgeprobeerd worden door het Kythera Hiking Team en Pyrgos House. En als het nodig is, snoeien en hakken ze vrolijk mee om een oud pad weer begaanbaar te maken. Inmiddels hebben Jeanette en Jaap een eigen facebook pagina waarop ze enthousiast melding maken van al hun wandelavonturen.
