What actually lives, grows and flourishes in nature on Kythira all year round?
To find out, visit the small but very special zoological museum on Kythira in the village of Kyprotianika. Robin Tzannes has built up a beautiful collection of feathers, shells, fossils, all sorts of rocks, dried plants, skeletons, insects, even a very tiny mummified baby bat that was found in a barn.
The museum is only open by appointment.
If you want to visit the museum please let us know by sending an e-mail to: info@pyrgoshouse.com
or stop at our office behind the church in Potamos. We can then arrange an appointment for you.

Thank you, Pyrgos House. Your guests will be very welcome to visit my museum.
We were lucky enough to be invited by Robin and George two years ago and it is a delight. Another gem in a gem of an island.
