Agia Pelagia is a friendly village on the north-eastern coast of Kythira. Along the boulevard you will find tavernas, ouzeria and kafeneia with inviting terraces. Is it hard to imagine, enjoying the stunning view over the blue sea with the colourful fishing boats dancing on the swell? You are sure to meet the friendly owner of the local supermarket, Mr. Giorgos. He is very proud of his island, his village and will make you feel more than welcome. Make sure you visit the two zacharoplasteia where you can have lovely ice creams and home made pastries. In brief, Agia Pelagia is a very good location for your Kythirian escape, even without your own transport.
Helichrysum House is centrally located on a hillside in Agia Pelagia, at just 100m from the beach. In 2022, owners Vivian and Panos redesigned their parents’ house into a bright and comfortable holiday home.
Helichrysum House has a spacious living room with open plan kitchen. There are two bedrooms (one with a double bed and one with two single beds). The bathroom has a toilet, washbasin and shower.
Probably the most special element of Helichrysum House is the large covered terrace with beautiful views of Agia Pelagia and the sea. Sitting here and enjoying the views, you will feel at home immediately, every moment of the day and evening.
Helichrysum House is located in an ascending dead end road and has private parking.
Did you know that Helichrysum is the official Latin name for Kythira’s famous yellow flower? This strikingly coloured flower grows mainly along the rocks around Chora’s Venetian castle. The islanders call it ‘sempreviva’ because it never loses its yellow colour.

If you want to stay in Helichrysum House with more than 2 persons, we ask a surcharge of € 10,00 for every extra person. Cleaning, changing of bed linen and towels are twice a week.
