Your stay at Papadogiannis House guarantees a relaxed holiday. At the end of 2024, owner Yannis finished the renovation of his grandfather’s old house. Proud of his family history, Yannis chose a tasteful and personal design.
The spacious and bright living room has a comfortable corner sofa, a large dining table and a fire place. There are two bedrooms (one with a double bed (140 x 200), one with two single beds (80 x 200)) and two separate bathrooms (each with a shower, washbasin and toilet). The open kitchen is fully equipped.
The living room has air conditioning, both bedrooms have a ceiling fan.
From the living room, via a staircase, you will reach the large garden, where you can relax underneath various fruit trees. Apart from this garden, Papadogiannis House has two spacious terraces, of which one is covered by a pergola. Sitting on the south terrace, you will enjoy spectacular views of Kythira. The covered terrace at the front is ideal to have breakfast in the shade or an aperitif in the afternoon.
Papadogiannis House is centrally situated in Potamos, a short walking distance from the town square.
With a stay in Potamos you will submerge yourselves in Greek village life. Around the village square there is a bakery, a butcher’s shop, a small super market and some nice kafeneia and restaurants.
Every Sunday morning locals and visitors come together at the market on the village square. It is a traditional and colourful market where islanders sell their local products as they have done for hundreds of years. A visit to this market cannot be missed during your stay on Kythira.
Potamos is an ideal base for discovering the island due to its central location.

If you want to stay in Papadogiannis House with more than 2 persons, we ask a surcharge of € 15.00 for every extra person. Cleaning, changing of bed linen and towels are twice a week.
