To Ampeli is a traditional house in Potamos, quietly situated at the end of an alley in the town centre. It has been restored and beautifully decorated in 2024.

To Ampeli is Greek for vineyard. In the valley below the house, there are vines as well as olive trees.

On the first floor, there is the dining area, a well equipped kitchen, bathroom and open bedroom with double bed. From the bedroom you will have access to the balcony. The bathroom has a shower, toilet and washbasin.

On the ground floor, To Ampeli has a second bedroom with a single bed. This room has its own entrance and bathroom (toilet and washbasin). In front of this bedroom, there is a spacious terrace that overlooks the valley with vines and olive trees.

The house is ideal for two or three guests. Heating makes your stay in wintertime also very comfortable.

With a stay in Potamos you will submerge yourselves in Greek village life. Around the village square there is a bakery, a butcher shop, a small super market and some nice kafeneia and restaurants.

Every Sunday morning locals and visitors come together at the market on the village square. It is a traditional and colourful market where islanders sell their local products and have done so for hundreds of years. A visit to this market cannot be missed during your stay on Kythira.

Potamos is an ideal base for discovering the island due to its central location.

Prices are per night and based on a two persons stay.

Prices are inclusive of bed linen, towels, cleaning (twice a week) and tourist taxes. If you want to stay in To Ampeli with 3 persons, we ask a surcharge of € 10,00 per day.
