This week, a South Korean film crew (Mountain TV) is making a documentary on Kythira about walking paths and sustainable tourism in the Balkan Region and in Greece. They started their discovery trip in Kosovo and arrived on Kythira last Monday. The subject is the function and benefit of the old footpaths: these paths connect not only villages but, especially, people. In cooperation with ‘Paths of Greece’, they decided to come to Kythira for its large variety of paths and their positive effect on sustainable tourism. Pyrgos House walked together with the team along the beautiful gorge with watermills near Mylopotamos. Nikos, our canyoning guide, made an indelible impression in Kakia Lagada Gorge and, on Friday evening, we are having a party at Stathis’ tsipouro distillery. Curious? We will inform you about the date of the broadcast – most probably at the end of November.
