This week the last trekking guests for 2019 arrived. They are doing a 15 day tailor made walking programme.
When they leave, Pyrgos House walking season that started mid-March comes to an end. This year we welcomed more trekkers and more participants to our guided walks and excursions than ever before. And as we usually do, we will use a part of the income generated to pay for clearing and maintenance of trails.
Of course we will continue walking during the winter: for example on every Sunday, when we do our successful Winter Sunday Walks. In February and March, we check all our routes in order to have the descriptions updated for the next walking season.
In early spring we clear overgrown paths making them accessible again. Soon we will announce a special programme for this. If you would like to help us by volunteering to clear these paths in March, send your email to info@pyrgoshouse.com and we will give you further information.
